A note from the founder

Why these group therapy templates were created.

As a licensed therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience, I have always believed in the power of therapy groups. There is something uniquely therapeutic about bringing people together who are facing similar challenges and creating a space where they can feel understood, supported, and less alone.

The Value of Group Therapy

Group therapy offers something individual therapy cannot always provide: the experience of healing alongside other people who understand.

Clients often enter therapy believing they are the only ones struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief, loneliness, life transitions, or other challenges. Group therapy can help challenge that isolation by allowing participants to hear, "I've experienced that too."

Why I Created These Templates

As a therapist, I know firsthand how much time and energy goes into developing a quality therapy group. Creating a group involves much more than choosing a topic. There is curriculum development, therapeutic objectives, discussion questions, activities, handouts, consent forms, and planning for meaningful conversations.

My hope is that these templates give other therapists a ready-to-use clinical foundation while saving them countless hours of preparation. You can take what I have created and adapt it to your own therapeutic approach, population, clinical setting, and style.

Created by a Therapist, For Therapists

These templates are not meant to replace your clinical judgment, training, or professional expertise. They are designed to give you a strong starting point so you do not have to spend hours staring at a blank page wondering where to begin.

You know your clients. You know your practice. You know your clinical style. I have created the foundation. You make it your own.

Let's Make Group Therapy More Accessible

If one of these resources saves you hours of preparation, helps you launch a group you have been wanting to offer, or ultimately helps a client feel less alone, more understood, and more hopeful, then these resources have accomplished exactly what I intended.

One therapist. One group. One connection at a time.

A Growing Collection

This is just the beginning. New therapy group templates will be added thoughtfully over time, focused on topics that are practical, meaningful, and clinically useful.

Future topics may include relationships, emotional wellness, life transitions, personal growth, parenting, communication, stress management, couples workshops, and other areas therapists and clients are looking for support with.

Your Feedback Matters

Some of the best ideas come from other therapists. If you use one of these templates in your practice, I would genuinely love to hear about your experience, what worked well, what you would change, and what topics your clients are asking for.
